January, 2001 — This is how how the front yard looked a few months after we moved in, once I had cleaned up some neglected areas and removed a wooden gazebo seat against the front wall.
We knew we wanted to completely change the landscaping, as the trees blocked the view of the house from the street, and the design was uninspired and rather boring.
