March, 2002 — To increase the usable area of the side yard, I decided to excavate the bank and build a retaining wall. A small Bobcat is the most effective way to work in a small space like this.
The far right photo shows the drainage system I built that ties together all the downspouts into an underground line that runs out to the street.
