The water feature consists of a bamboo pipe with plastic tubing concealed inside. The water empties into a two ft. deep plastic basin sunk into the ground. A pump in the basin recirculates the water. Level with the top of the basin is a 1/4" acrylic panel supported by concrete blocks, all of which is concealed by a layer of smooth stones so that the water seems to just disappear into the rocks.
Plants in this photo include Japanese Iris, horsetails and dwarf horsetails, rhododendrons, and Hinoki cypress.
