The view towards the front door. Again, the large Japanese maple has no leaves in this early March photo. The grass behind the maple is Acorus gramineus "Ogon", golden mondo grass, and the ground cover on the right is Pachysandra terminalis "Japanese spurge". It will grow together and produce a low mound about 10" high after a few years. The grass around the steppingstones is Ophiopogon japonicus.
